According to Reuters, the luxury handbag maker has just acquired Kate Spade as well.
The company will now be known as Tapestry, and owns Coach, Stuart Weitzman, and Kate Spade & Co., and CEO Victor Luis said that the new name "speaks to creativity, craftsmanship, authenticity and inclusivity."
Their stock name will also be changed from COH to TPR, but don't worry, the purses will remain Coach because I'm pretty sure they can't rebrand them to Tapestry. That would just be silly.
